The BVI is a territory of the UK. I went there for work almost annually between 1999 and 2004. Other than when in transit, I spent all my BVI time on the beautiful island of Virgin Gorda, where I had work to do at the gorgeous Little Dix Bay resort. If you get to the BVI, even if you don’t stay at the pricey Little Dix Bay, you should make a point of dining there. The food there is just fantastic. Beyond LDB, there are scenic and historic spots all over Virgin Gorda to discover, including 6 national parks. Most famous is The Baths, where giant granite boulders have tumbled down to the sea, creating moody grottoes. Like sailing? The BVI is the sailing capital of the Caribbean.
