Like the city itself, Stockton cuisine is nuthin’ fancy. On the way to the Haggin Museum, I stopped into a modest Vietnamese place and had a basic stir-fry dish–stir-fried chicken and vegetables (bong cai xao ga).
For dinner, I believe I had a grilled chicken sandwich. (I know, imagine that.) But we’ll never know for sure because I forgot to take a picture. It must have looked really good, or I must have been really hungry!
