At the start of the day, a friend picked me up at a BART station near Martinez. We had a hearty breakfast at a local rustic diner. Sorry, I can’t tell you what I had. I didn’t get any pictures. I’m guessing it was an omelet. But maybe it was something completely different. We’ll never know.
My schedule was too full to have a proper lunch, but late in the day, I got some ice cream. I’m worth it.
For dinner, I stuffed myself. I went to a simple Thai restaurant that had simply good food. For a starter, I got crispy tofu with sweet and sour sauce and peanut sauce. Dippity good.
For the main dish, I got a fried noodle dish with chicken. I believe it was the Pad-Kee-Mao, which is otherwise known as drunken noodles. Assuming that’s what I got, it was prepared with stir-fried flat noodles, chili, fresh garlic, egg, sweet basic, carrot, tomato, and mixed vegetables. And of course, chicken. It definitely sounds like something I would order.
I couldn’t resist getting the dessert that sounded so good, even though it came with ice cream and I had just had ice cream a little while earlier. Fried banana with ice cream. What else could I do but order it? Just look at it!
Ok, NOW it’s on to Spain!
