After arriving in Olympic Valley, I headed to a coffeeshop. Fortunately, omelets weren’t even on the menu, so I didn’t have that temptation. I got a simple crunchy granola breakfast sorta thing.
Way up high at High Camp, I went veggie with the grilled portobello sandwich. Given a choice between fries and salad, what do you think I went with?
Back in Truckee, it was time for my 3rd and final dinner in town. I started with a refreshing mocktail. Did I get The Orangeberry Sparkling or The Ginger Citrus? I don’t remember. They both sound good. And this looks good, right?
Looking at it, it’s gotta be The Orangeberry Sparkling–made with muddled fresh blackberries and oranges, fresh lemon juice, and San Pellegrino Blood Orange.
Next up, your basic Caesar salad.
And finally, there’s nothing better than pizza! (Hmm, looks like I went veggie for dinner too.)
Overall, good mountain food!
